Failure to Appear

If you did not show up in court for an arraignment, pre-trial setting or another mandatory court hearing, your future may be hanging in the balance. Failing to appear in court is a serious matter and should not be taken lightly. A bench warrant for your arrest will most likely be issued for having failed to appear in court.

If you missed your court appearance, you could be facing the following penalties:

• The forfeiture of your posted bail

• Revocation of probation

• Suspension of your driver's license

• Steep fines

Debrow will carefully review the details of your case to determine if you missed your hearing for a valid reason, such as a medical emergency. Regardless of the circumstances surrounding your case, we will do everything in our power to help minimize the damage this kind of charge can bring.

Considering the seriousness of these cases, time is of the essence. Don't delay. If you are stopped for a traffic violation, an officer can arrest you if there is an existing bench warrant against you.

Debrow Law will help you resolve your failure to appear matter as quickly and effectively as possible.
